Ward Halloween Party
We had a ward Halloween party at the Bishops house. If you can't tell, I was a cowgirl. It was the easiest thing I could do cause I already had boots and a belt. I had to buy a 5 dollar hat at walmart, but I thought I got a pretty good hat. Its from the Toby Keith Collection :) This is my roommate Jamie and I.
My FHE brother's decided to be Osama and an army man. I thought it was pretty clever...and very funny.
These are my roommates Anna and Jamie. Jamie is a caddie, I'm a cowgirl, and Anna's a gangster.
This is Kenny. He works with me at Recsports, is in my ward, and my home teacher. He was a fisherman, in case you couldnt tell.
This is one of my favorite people up here. My friend Andrew! He was an efy counselor for the party :)

Recsports Retreat
So I work for Recsports on campus and we had a retreat last night. The whole thing actually made me feel really ungrateful. I had been dreading this retreat since the day I found out about it. I don't really have a lot of friends that I work with at Recsports. I mean, don't get me wrong, everyone is really nice, but I don't feel like I have any close friends in the program. So I wasn't looking forward to spending a weekend out in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of people I don't know very well. Then of course I had to have a statistics test this weekend that I pretty much had no time to study for, and I really needed to go to the lab to ask some questions, and I couldn't because of the retreat. So basically I was pretty unhappy about the whole thing.
At this retreat, we played a lot of games and got to know each other a bit better. We also had lots of lessons and discussion time. We watched a video with Elder Bednar's talk that he gave at the groundbreaking of the addition to the hart here on campus. It was about how we need to be grateful for the things we are given. One of the things he said was that when Elder Eyring was there to look around, his last stop was in the Taylor Chapel (just another building on campus) and just stood there pondering for a minute. Elder Bednar asked him what he was thinking and he said "I was thinking about how much we do for so few, and how little we do for so many." This really made me think about how ungrateful I am for the opportunity to attend this wonderful university. Here I was, dreading this retreat, when I should be grateful that I have the opportunity to go on it. This university is definitely a great place to be. The spirit is felt everywhere from church, to classes, to devotional, and study groups. I am so grateful for all the people around the world that actually pay for this campus, and essentially my education, with the sacrifice of their tithing money. Most of them will never see anything so great in their lives. I'm just sorry that they can never see what a blessing it is to me and all others that go here.
This is the whole staff and volunteers (that came to the retreat, we were missing a few).
It was Recsport's 80th anniversary so we had cake and ice cream to celebrate!
The view of the tetons from the back door of the cabin we stayed in :)
The cabin we stayed in was called "Teton Lodge" and it was so cool!

Ultimate Frisbee!!!
So I'm on an ultimate frisbee team here at school. We played the whole season and lost 1 time. The last few games we've scored from 11-15 points against other teams that scored 2-5 points. We've been doing sooo amazing. So tournaments started last week and we won our first game, then the semi-finals, then finally the Championship!!! It was so exciting. What a good night!
The whole team before the game.
Hanging out on the sidelines. I pretty much love my green shoes.
Yay for team spirit! :)
After we won our championship shirts! Our team name was "Joe for President" cause a guy on our team (Joe) is an amazing player and definitely carries the team.
